About the Gift of Life Project
Every woman that comes into CBCC to receive treatment will be automatically enrolled into a monthly drawing. The winner each month will receive a personal fashion shoot with Shoot for Change’s Walter Grio, as well as a complimentary salon or spa service from Hela.
“The mission of Capital Breast Care Center is to provide comprehensive, culturally appropriate breast cancer screening services and to promote health and wellness to women in the DC metropolitan area, regardless of their ability to pay.” Every insured woman who comes to CBCC for a mammogram, enables an uninsured woman to receive breast health services and treatment.

“Shoot for Change is based on the idea that all the money from every photoshoot goes to a nonprofit organization of the client’s choice. Since launching this project on November 2006, Shoot for Change has raised $106,555 for various nonprofit organizations.”
